Metro Sixers Summer Breeze III - June 15-17
On behalf of the Metro Sixers we want to THANK YOU for participating in our 3rd annual "Summer Breeze" tournament. This year was bigger and better that previous two years. The word is getting out that if you want good competition and great facilities, you should consider playing in a Metro Sixers event.

This year we saw 65 boy teams compete in age division from 10u to 17u. We are pleased to offer this tournament each year and we look forward to your participation in the upcoming 2007 Fall League.

Congratulations to all of the teams who participated in the 3rd annual Spring Fling tournament. The Spring Fling was a huge success and we had a chance to watch some exciting basketball. We everything from overtimes to last minute buzzer beaters. The 1st and 2nd place teams received tournament trophies
and t-shirts compliment of this years Bronze Sponsor: The Wootten Basketball Camp. We have a long-term relationship with The Wootten Camp to include camp scholarships (day and overnight) in the future. We want to thank Ms. Becky Vuksta and her staff for assisting us in making this a wonderful tournament. We look forward to having you back next year!

12u Sixers Getting It Done!

Congratulations to the 12u Metro Sixers for playing an excellent tournament this past weekend in the Annual MD Madness tournament. The Metro Sixers went 5-0 for the tournament. The team played relentless defense in each game and had very good balance from all the players.

Job Well Done!

Each year the Maryland Madness organization run one of the top notch tournaments during the Thanksgiving Holidays. This year there were over 60 teams competing in age groups 8u - 14u boys. This year's tournament field several nationally ranked teams from the Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC. Teams traveled as from as far north as Connecticut to participate in this tournament.
